HauteCats Cat Grooming Waiver & Policies

Thank you for choosing HauteCats for your feline grooming needs. To ensure the best experience for you and your cat, please carefully review and agree to the following terms below before your appointment.

By booking your appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Please provide your contact information, cat’s details, and preferred groom package when booking. 812-340-3091 by text .

Deposit & Payment Policy
A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
At this time, credit and debit cards are not accepted. Accepted payment methods include cash, Zelle, Venmo, and CashApp.
The remaining balance is due at pickup.

Health & Special Needs
If your cat is on any medications, has allergies, or requires fragrance-free products, you must disclose this information at the time of booking.
HauteCats uses high-quality, pet-safe grooming products, but if your cat has sensitive skin or specific needs, please inform us in advance.
If fleas are found during grooming, the owner will be contacted by text to inform them and offered a specialized flea treatment if needed. Any skin lesions or health concerns will result in the owner being contacted by phone and text.
In the event of a serious health issue during grooming, the cat will be taken to a pet hospital unless the owner has explicitly waived this action. While such occurrences have never happened, HauteCats is fully prepared to act if necessary.
If a flea infestation is undisclosed, there will be an additional charge for a flea bath and specialized treatment. If you believe your cat may have been in contact with fleas in the early stages, please notify us before your appointment so we can take precautions to protect other cats.
Aggressive Cats & Grooming Success
HauteCats specializes in handling difficult and aggressive cats using gentle and Fear-Free techniques.
If a cat becomes too distressed or aggressive beyond what is safely manageable, grooming may be paused or canceled at the groomer's discretion. In this case, the $25 deposit will be forfeited, and the owner will be responsible for picking up their cat at the agreed pick-up time.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to transfer your deposit to a new date.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows will result in the deposit being forfeited.
Special Requests & Questions
Any special requests or concerns should be discussed at the time of booking.
If your cat has any special handling needs or behavioral concerns, please disclose this information before the appointment.
Emergency Contact
In case of an emergency, please provide a phone number where you can be reached during your cat’s grooming session.

Owner Acknowledgment & Agreement
I acknowledge that:

I understand and agree to the deposit and payment policies.
I have disclosed any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs my cat may have.
I understand HauteCats’ approach to aggressive cats and that my deposit may be forfeited if grooming cannot be completed due to extreme aggression.
I understand that grooming is done with the utmost care and safety, but there are inherent risks, including stress, minor nicks, or accidental injury.
I agree to pick up my cat promptly at the agreed pick-up time.
